Overview
Complexity is one of the primary problems that we attempt to address with software development tools and methods. Complexity, if not managed, can cause a product to be low quality or delivered late, over budget, or the project could be cancelled completely. There are no easy solutions to removing complexity and improving productivity and quality. The best we can do is reduce or manage complexity.
